Our cookie booth sale (yes, the girls requested this!) is Wednesday, Nov. 10th after school until 5pm at Copps in Middleton Hills. We will meet outside Ms Weber's room - she has conferences and can't join us :(. I will drive the girls & cookies to Copps and then drive the girl's home, afterwards. Any adults that want to join us for part of the time would be welcome. Thank you, Janet, for bringing the table and chairs! Be prepared to be enthusiastic! Please let us know if you can't make it.
Next troop meeting is at 6:30pm on Wednesday, Nov 17th at Northside in Amy's room. Girls should bring their Agent of Change books. They will be working on their service project.
Our troop has signed up for the "My Heritage" workshop on Saturday, Nov 20 (details below) at the Wisconsin Historical Museum.
My Heritage is presented by staff from the Wisconsin Historical Museum. Girl Scout Juniors participating in this workshop will work toward completing the following skills:
· Create a Heritage Scrapbook
· What’s in a name?
· Celebrate your Heritage
· From Yesterday to Today
· Get Together
· Host a Heritage Night
**Girls are encouraged to invite their parents, grandparents, and other family members to a small reception to show off their work, 3:00pm - 4:00pm.
Important: There will be a lunch break from 12-1p and girls should pack a lunch or bring money to eat out. Badge and refreshments for reception included in fee. At time of registration, please estimate how many others will attend the afternoon reception. Girls must attend with their own adult coverage.
