The Fall Kickoff/Roundup was a fun trip where we learned how to use compasses to make and equilateral triangles and made delicious (but messy) s'mores snacks. You could put on many things like banana slices , chocolate chips,( a favorite for everyone) Jam, (Raspberry or Strawberry),butter ,or (and most important) marshmallows. The smoke always followed us when we were baking the treats on the fire. We said "The Pledge of Allegiance" around a flag at the very end then we headed home. Others might have done other trips some I think went on a hike but I'm not for sure about that. The trip to the Fall Kickoff/Roundup was a trip to remember. -Merete Witkovsky
